Ministries

Heritage Kids

We place a high priority on children because the kingdom of heaven belongs to them as much as anyone else. They are not only the future

of the church…they are the church. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom

of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14)

Nursery (Ages 0-4) and Children’s Church (K-5th Grade)

On Sunday mornings, your children will discover how the Gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. They will read scripture as Christ-centered, study the Old and New Testaments, and learn that the Bible is not a collection of stories but is God’s unified story of redemption. Each morning your children will sing praises to God, pray, and participate in fun activities and games centered around bible lessons.

The safety of your children is of the utmost importance to us. All Children’s Ministry Staff has undergone a thorough screening process, including reference checks and fingerprinting. Our hope is for you to relax and enjoy the service, knowing your children are learning God’s Word and having fun in a safe and secure setting.

Awana

Awana’s theme verse is 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”

Awana is a nondenominational ministry that partners with churches in reaching children and youth with the Gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. We, at Heritage Church, endeavor to serve the families of our community through this ministry by teaching kids the reality of God and the truth of the Bible.

Scripture memory is used as the foundation to learning the truth of God’s Word. Children, with the guidance of their leaders, will examine how to personally study the Bible and use it for sound living. Awana encourages fun and fellowship through fast-paced games, allowing kids to unleash their natural energy in an organized and safe environment.

Awana Clubs at Heritage Church fall into the following divisions:

- Cubbies: 3 years old (potty trained) – TK

- Sparks: K – 2nd grade

- T&T: 3rd – 5th grade

Awana meets on Wednesday nights during the school year in the sanctuary, 6:15 – 7:45 PM.

For more information or if you have any questions regarding our children's program or AWANA, please contact our Children's Director, Joe Jimenez.

Heritage Youth

In a culture focused on entertainment and hesitant to make distinctions between right and wrong, our youth have become thoroughly distracted, confused, and apathetic. Heritage Youth Ministries seeks to challenge and equip our students with the truth of God’s Word

in a fun and engaging way. Our weekly meetings are high-energy and consist of games, teaching, and discussion, and on an average interval of once per month, we have an event with a special focus (i.e., game night, service night, worship night, thanksgiving). High School meets on Monday nights at 7 PM and Middle School meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM.

For more information or if you have any questions regarding our youth ministry, please contact our Youth Pastor, Casey Ryan.

Heritage Women

Heritage Church Women’s Ministry has a heart to help women live out their faith as they study the Word of God and allow it to change them into women who are passionate about knowing and serving the Lord Jesus Christ. Through weekly Bible studies and occasional gatherings, we encourage women to keep their hearts attuned to the Lord. When trials arise, we band together to pray for each other. We encourage women to learn to serve the Lord with hearts focused on Him and not self.

Women's Bible Study

On Tuesday nights at 7 PM & Wednesday mornings at 9:30 AM, our women's ministry meets for bible study. Click here to sign up for our current study.

If you have questions or would like to find out more about our Women's Ministry please feel free to contact our Women's Ministry Overseer, Bev Woltjer.

Heritage Life Groups

Being part of a small group is tremendously beneficial for the Christian experience.  Not only do you get to experience God with other believers outside of a weekly church service, but you also have the opportunity to go deeper in your studies and relationships – all while socializing and having a good time.

If you have questions or would like to find out more about how to get involved, please contact Dale Adema.
